Summary

knowledge-gardener, pkm-curation, and research-vault overlap in vault search, linking, research capture, claims, evidence, packets, and retrieval linting.

Proposed fix

Choose one structure:

  • Make knowledge-gardener a user-invoked router for Obsidian workflows; or
  • Merge its unique content into pkm-curation and research-vault, then remove/retire it.

Suggested boundaries

  • conversation-summary: save current chat only.
  • research-vault: long-running research packet workflow.
  • pkm-curation: improve existing vault notes.
  • knowledge-gardener: router/search helper only, if kept.

Acceptance criteria

  • Each PKM skill has a distinct branch and purpose.
  • Duplicated research capture/linking/retrieval-lint rules are reduced to a single source of truth.
  • README entries accurately describe the final structure.
